This year, all proceeds from this show will benefit Tom Latshaw. Tom Latshaw, past firefighter and chief for 10 years, was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident and faces a lengthy recovery. Saturday, August 14, 2010 On October 2, 2010, the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Monte Carlo Night. The cost will be $25.00 per person and will include a buffet dinner and $25.00 casino voucher. Dinner will be served from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The gaming tables will be open from 7:00 to 10:30 pm. Thursday, June 10, 2010 On Thursday night, members of the EGFD participated in a vehicle rescue pratice utilizing Squad 38. Various rescue techniques were demonstrated on two donated vehicles, while newly trained VRT's operated the Amkus Tools. Thanks to Lon Brinkman and Branden Mininger for donating the vehicles.
Thursday, May 27, 2010 The EGFD is selling a 1993 Spartan / Quality 1500 GPM Engine with a 750 Gallon Tank. The engine is excellent shape and is available immediately.
