Members of East Greenville Fire Company 38 participated in a joint vehicle rescue drill with Red Hill Fire Company 71 on Thursday night May 21st. Both Red Hill & East Greenville trained side-by-side reviewing vehicle rescue techniques, stabilization methods, tool operations, and coordinated response strategies to local vehicle accidents and emergencies. Thankyou to Second Chance Auto for donating two vehicles for both compaines to train on and share expertise in order to stengthen mutal response toward emergencies.
EGFD has signed with Alexis Fire Equipment Company through Twin Tier Fire, Montrose, PA, to build a 2025 1500GPM / 1000 Gallon Engine. Engine 38 will feature an all stainless steel body, 1,000 gallon water tank, 30 gallon class A foam tank and 1500 Waterous pump on a Spartan Metrostar chassis with Cummins 450 hp L9 engine. The new Engine 38 will replace our 2007 KME CAFS engine.
